Realistic Metrics (KPIs) to Measure with Strategy:

  1. Number of likes/shares/comments on a single post on Facebook

  2. Justification: Since her social media is still in its growing stages, the engagements are currently very low. One of the main things we want to address are the engagement and impressions she is receiving from her posts. As someone new to sales and someone who wants to maintain a personal brand while doing so, it is important to measure the number of likes/shares/comments on all posts, not just the ones about or relating to her Nerium business. This will give a better sense of how her existing audience reacts to her content. It is still important to note that both Nerium posts and personal posts should be analyzed separately to keep controls.

  3. Number of new friends/followers to personal account on Facebook

  4. Justification: This KPI is linked to #1. Since her account is not a business account, and for strategic reasons to maintain a genuine and relatable persona, the number of new friends/followers should be tracked. This can indicate how effective her content is to people. It is linked through the number of shares. Sharing content allows Nicole’s friends to share with their friends who may not be a part of Nicole’s network. We can cross-analyze the number of shares with the number of new friends/followers and see if there’s a correlation between posts.

  5. Direct Messaging open rates (videos, content on website sent via email)

  6. Justification: Nerium allows brand partners to have access to a personal Nerium website to manage their personal business. On this website is content, including promotional/informative videos, newsletters, and blog posts by medical professionals and other Nerium board executives, there is the option to send it directly to prospective customers. From here, you can see how many people open and watch the video, even indicating how much of the video they’ve seen. This can be useful in creating content to post to see what people are interested in or what they may not have seen.
